Discover Arqma

Private

Arqma is built on the Monero codebase and shaped by an active community of contributors. The RandomARQ proof-of-work algorithm and ASIC-and-NiceHash resistance keep mining accessible to everyone.

Decentralized

A hybrid Proof-of-Work + Proof-of-Stake consensus model validates transactions and governs the Service Nodes that anchor the network — no foundation can flip a switch.

Versatile

Service Nodes underpin chain-agnostic capabilities — decentralized finance, anonymous-by-default messaging, and added-privacy options for tokens issued on top.

Self-custody

A non-custodial Arqma Wallet that puts you in charge

Custodial wallets and exchanges hold your keys for you — which means they can lock, freeze or lose your coins. Arqma Wallet is different. It is a true self-custody crypto wallet: your 25-word seed phrase and private keys are generated and stored on your device, encrypted with your password, and never uploaded to any server.

That means there is no account to sign up for, no KYC form to fill in, and no third party who can refuse a transaction. If you can hold the seed, you can hold the coins — on desktop, on mobile, online or fully offline.

Your keys, your coins

Arqma Wallet is a non-custodial wallet. Your private keys and 25-word seed never leave your device, and no company, exchange or foundation can freeze your funds.

Private by default

Built on the battle-tested CryptoNote/Monero codebase, every Arqma transaction uses ring signatures, stealth addresses and RingCT — sender, receiver and amount stay confidential on-chain.

Open source you can audit

The Arqma Wallet source is fully open and reproducible. Read the code, build it yourself, or follow our security guides to back up safely.

Recoverable on any device

Lose a laptop or upgrade your phone? Restore the same Arqma Wallet on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iOS using your seed phrase — funds stay on-chain, not on the device.

How it works

Set up Arqma Wallet in three steps

From a clean install to your first private ARQ transaction — Arqma Wallet is built to be approachable for newcomers and rigorous enough for advanced users running their own nodes.

  1. 01

    Download Arqma Wallet

Grab the official Arqma Wallet for your operating system from the download page — never from a random link or app store mirror.

  2. 02

    Create your keys offline

Arqma Wallet generates a 25-word seed phrase locally on your device. The seed is your wallet — write it down on paper and store it offline.

  3. 03

    Sync, send and recover

Connect to a public remote node or run your own. Send and receive private ARQ transactions and restore on any device with your seed.

Download

Arqma Wallet for every device you own

One wallet, every major platform. Install the official Arqma Wallet on desktop for full-node mode, or on mobile for quick sends and receives — and move your seed between them whenever you want.

On the download page you'll find official Arqma Wallet builds for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android & iOS — pick the one that matches your device.

Always download Arqma Wallet from the official download page. Verify the file hashes shown there before installing to protect yourself from phishing and tampered builds.

Privacy

Private crypto, without compromises

Most "crypto wallets" leak everything: balances, contacts, transaction history — all visible on a public blockchain explorer. Arqma Wallet uses the same privacy primitives that made Monero a benchmark for confidential payments. Ring signatures hide the real sender among decoys, stealth addresses generate a fresh one-time destination for every payment, and RingCT cryptographically hides the amount.

Combined with the RandomARQ proof-of-work algorithm and an active Service Node layer, Arqma stays decentralized, ASIC- and NiceHash-resistant, and resistant to chain analysis — so your wallet feels less like an account number and more like cash in your pocket.

  • Stealth addresses for every incoming payment
  • Ring signatures hide the real sender among decoys
  • RingCT hides transaction amounts on-chain
  • Optional view keys for selective transparency
  • Connect to your own node or trusted remote nodes
  • No accounts, no email, no KYC ever

Backups & recovery

Back up once, recover anywhere

A non-custodial wallet means you are the backup. Arqma Wallet gives you simple, well-documented ways to protect your seed phrase and wallet file, and to restore them on a new device when you need to.

Write down your 25-word seed

Pen and paper beats a screenshot. Store the seed offline in two locations — and never type it into a website.

Back up the wallet file

Keep an encrypted copy of your wallet.keys file on a USB drive or hardware backup. Re-encrypt it after every password change.

Practice a wallet recovery

Do a dry-run restore on a spare device before you need to. Confirm the address matches before sending real funds.

Anonymous by design

An anonymous crypto wallet that doesn't ask who you are

Most "anonymous crypto wallets" still leak your balance, your counterparties and your spending habits on a public ledger — only your name is hidden. Arqma Wallet is different. Because Arqma uses the same CryptoNote privacy stack as Monero (XMR), every transaction you make from Arqma Wallet is private at the protocol level. There is no account, no email, no IP fingerprint tied to your address, and no on-chain trail linking payments back to you.

You can connect to a trusted public remote node or run your own node for maximum privacy. Either way, your seed phrase, view keys and spend keys stay on your device — not on a third party's server.

Who it's for

Built for everyone who values private, self-custody crypto

Whether you're moving long-term holdings off a custodial exchange, paying for everyday things privately, or running infrastructure on the Arqma network — Arqma Wallet is designed for the way you actually use crypto.

Long-term ARQ holders

Move funds off custodial exchanges into a self-custody crypto wallet you actually control. Back up your 25-word seed once and sleep easy.

Daily private payments

Send and receive ARQ on desktop or mobile with stealth addresses and confidential amounts — perfect for everyday, low-fee privacy payments.

Privacy-minded Monero users

Already use an XMR wallet? Arqma Wallet feels familiar — same CryptoNote roots, but with RandomARQ mining and a lighter, faster chain.

Service Node operators & miners

Run a full node, operate a Service Node, or mine RandomARQ at home — Arqma Wallet is your control panel for the network.

Seed phrase basics

What is a seed phrase, and why is yours so important?

When you create an Arqma Wallet, it generates a 25-word seed phrase — sometimes called a recovery phrase or mnemonic. Those 25 words are a human-readable form of your private key. Anyone who has them can restore your wallet on any device and spend your ARQ; anyone who doesn't, can't.

That's why Arqma Wallet never sends your seed off your device, never stores it in the cloud, and never asks you for it on a website. Treat your seed phrase like cash plus a house key: write it down on paper, keep it offline, and ideally store two copies in two physical locations.

  • 25 words = full control of your wallet — keep them secret
  • Works across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS
  • Never type your seed into a website, chat, or screenshot
  • Store at least two paper copies in two separate places
  • Optionally protect the seed with a passphrase (advanced)
  • Practice a restore on a spare device before you need it

Arqma Wallet vs custodial wallets

Custodial vs non-custodial wallet — at a glance

A custodial wallet (an exchange account, a "wallet" inside an app you log in to with email and password) holds your keys for you. A non-custodial wallet like Arqma Wallet hands those keys back to you. Here is what changes day-to-day.
